The position: E-mail and website content producer

Location: San Diego

Job duties: Manages the design and execution of new e-mail campaigns, site content, site features for and various other web-based communications and marketing materials. Ensures that site content is timely and relevant and consistent with overall online objectives and business goals of stakeholder groups. A primary goal is to create an engaging and satisfying shopping experience for customers. Will help develop strategies to allow various company departments to incorporate their online marketing objectives into the company site. Responsible for creating e-mail campaigns, with specifics tasks to include setting up distribution lists, creating HTML templates and overseeing testing campaigns.

Requirements: Applicants should have a college degree or equivalent experience in a related role. At least three years of experience involving editorial creation, web content production or e-mail marketing is required. Must have strong writing, communication, planning and time management skills. Job also requires extensive business software experience, including proficiency with programs like Microsoft Office. Must be very comfortable with web tools and technologies, as job involves using content managements systems to update site. Requires working knowledge of Web practices and design principles, HTML, CSS and related tools.
