The position: Assistant/associate professor of theater for Skidmore College
Location: Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Job duties: Will teach undergraduate courses in Western and non-Western theater history, theory and directing. May also have opportunities to direct departmental productions. Like all tenure-track faculty, this person will be expected at some point to teach an interdisciplinary seminar for the College's First Year Experience program.

Requirements: Must have demonstrated excellence in teaching, as well as in scholarship or work in the professional theater. A Ph.D. or M.F.A. in theater history or directing is preferred, but exceptional professional experience will also be considered. Significant teaching and directing experience at the college level is essential.
