The position: Internet merchandiser for Victoria's Secret Direct

Location: New York City

Job duties: Will develop merchandising stories/themes and major product initiatives that will align with key Internet strategies. Will create and oversee merchandising calendar and special initiatives for online pages. Collaborates with creative teams to develop special concepts, ideas and page layouts. Provides input related to e-mail campaigns and strategies. Will assist with merchandise selections for external advertising and promotional campaigns. Responsible for analyzing business metrics for the purpose of evaluating promotional success and recommending changes. Will work closely with the IT team for the maintenance and development of the database. Responsible for ensuring Web site efficiency, accuracy and creativity.

Requirements: Must have bachelor's degree and five years related work experience. Requires a keen understanding of the Victoria's Secret customer and her desired shopping experience. Must have at least two years management experience involving leading and assembling a team. Ideal candidate will have a track record of high-volume business growth. Must have strong analytical and strategic business skills. Will be expected to work long hours when necessary to meet deadlines. Must have strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Requires strong computer skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
