Memorial Day 2011: Sales Roundup - TheStreet

NEW YORK (MainStreet) – This weekend is Memorial Day, which means there will be plenty of sales going on to grab shoppers.

If you’re not the barbecue type, Boston Market is offering a printable coupon that gives you 50% off any family meal purchase on Monday. It can’t be used in conjunction with other coupons or promotions, nor can it be used on the $4.99 and $5.99 ¼ “dark meals.” The coupon is only good at participating locations, so there’s always a chance you’ll be turned away if your local Boston Market isn’t on board.

Online apparel retailer Endless is having a Memorial Day sale, taking 20% off select styles. The discount is taken automatically at checkout – no coupon codes necessary – and the sale lasts now through Monday. There are sale items available in every category, including men’s and women’s formal and casual shoes, jewelry, watches and clothes.

Macy’s is holding an online Memorial Day Sale, taking 15% off (10% in certain departments, like shoes, coats, dresses and electronics) when you use the discount code KICKOFF at checkout. The code, which also gives free shipping for orders more than $99, lasts now through Monday. There are loads of exclusions, including brands like Cole Haan, Dockers, Levi’s, Nike and many more. For the full terms and conditions check out the Macy’s website and click on “details” under the “extra 15% off” banner.

Finally, if you’re thinking of stocking up on linens and other things this weekend, Linens ‘n Things is probably your best bet. Though not explicitly labeled a Memorial Day sale, the retailer is taking 20% off select online purchases when you use the code D20 at checkout. Items that qualify will be tagged with a ‘couponable’ graphic; for instance, this Broderick eight-piece comforter set, originally priced at $179.99 and marked down to $79.99, comes down to $63.99 when you use the code at checkout. The sale ends Tuesday.
