Wal-Mart will now sell the iPhone 3GS 16GB for $97, down from $197, with a two-year contract with

The news has ignited rumors that Apple will be launching a new iPhone within the coming weeks, prompting Wal-Mart to get rid of current inventory.

Lost

continues to be a hot topic Tuesday, after the series finale aired on ABC, which is owned by

Walt Disney

, on Sunday. The two-and-a-half hour finale drew an audience of 13.5 million. ABC has tried unsuccessfully to replace the series. Its strongest efforts was arguably

Dell

unveiled its Streak tablet computer on Tuesday in the U.K., where it will become available in early June.

The touch-screen device is nearly half the size of Apple's iPad, and will operate on Google's Android operating system. The price of the device will be announced closer to the launch date.
