TheStreet.com 21 had another losing session Thursday, again mirroring the struggles of the broader market and dropping 14 points, or 1.3%, to 1075.01.
Dow Jones Industrial Average
fell 81.55 points, or 0.9%, to 9343.96, while the
lost 26.46 points, or 1.4%, at 1817.24.
Sixteen of the index components finished the day lower, while five rose. Of the losers,
shed 26 cents, or 4.2%, ending at $5.96 as investors awaited the company's quarterly report.
Shortly after the close, the company reported a fourth-quarter loss, before items, of 4 cents a share, within its previous guidance of a loss of 2 cents to 6 cents a share.
Bank of New York
fell 98 cents, or 3.2%, to $29.24, and
was down 45 cents, or 3%, to $14.81.
gained 14 cents, or 2.6%, to $5.45.
rose 80 cents, or 1.5%, to $54.
In all, the TSC 21 is up 75.01 points, or 7.5%, since its start at 1000 on July 3.
