
TSC 21: Index Takes a Breather
TheStreet.com 21 ended relatively flat Friday, with 10 stocks closing higher and 11 stocks lower. The index ended down slightly from Thursday, losing 0.19 points, or 0.02%, to 1106.85.
For the week overall, however, the index finished 4.39 points higher, or 0.4%, from last Friday's close of 1102.46. And the TSC 21 is still up 106.85 points, or 10.7%, from its start on July 3 at 1000.
Of the broader indices, the
Dow Jones Industrial Average
closed up 12 points, or 0.12%, to 9472 and the
Nasdaq
finished up 9 points, or 0.5%, at 1855.
Leading the TSC 21 decliners was
