Tomorrow's Headliners: Dell
Wall Street is looking at a busy day Thursday, with earnings, economic data and more commentary from
Federal Reserve
bankers on the schedule.
Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke will speak in Charlotte, N.C., and Governor Frederic Mishkin will offer remarks in Cambridge, Mass., but both events will take place after the market closes. In other words, any impact will likely be reflected in Friday's session.
But there's still plenty to keep investors occupied in the upcoming session. The Commerce Department will release its second pass at third-quarter gross domestic product, the Labor Department will have weekly initial jobless claims, and the Census Bureau will post numbers on new-home sales.
The earnings calendar will feature
