NEW YORK (
) -- Former
flight attendant Steven Slater, infamous for his emergency exit meltdown in August, pleaded guilty to two counts of criminal mischief today.
Instead of being sentenced to jail, Slater is being required to pay a fine of $10,000 after he completes a full year at a mental health program in Queens.

Today while Slater was at court, his home was burglarized. According to the Queens D.A., 39-year-old Jonathan Rochelle broke into Slater's Queens home today. Several reports claim that Rochelle stole a computer, a printer and a microwave oven from Slater's home.
Jonathan Rochelle is apparently the brother of Slater's boyfriend, Kenneth Rochelle's.
