) -- On Wednesday, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner announced that the Obama administration would be extending the Troubled Asset Relief Program until October 2010 -- and is planning on using at least some of the $150 billion in unspent TARP fund for some type of job-creation programs.

are trying to raise enough capital to get out from under the government, while

won approval last week to repay its $45 billion in federal aid.
