agreed to buy Industrial Fumigant of Olathe, Kan.
Terms weren't disclosed, but Atlanta-based Rollins, which runs the Orkin pest control business, said the transaction is expected to close in October.
Industrial Fumigant was founded in 1937 and sold in 1996 to workers. It focuses on food plant pest management, auditing and training. It has 25 offices and 17 warehouses, employs over 130 associates and posted latest-year revenue of $26 million.
"We are extremely pleased to announce this agreement with IFC which is consistent with our strategic plan to accelerate growth in commercial services," CEO Gary W. Rollins said. "Under the leadership of Mike Newland, IFC has earned great loyalty from its customers and employees. Although they will continue to operate independently, we hope to learn a great deal from Mike and his team of experts."
On Monday, Rollins slipped 37 cents to $19.99.
