POLL: Which Drugstore Will Win Flu Season?
NEW YORK (
) -- Investors are closely monitoring drugstores for signs that seasonal flu shots have begun to pay dividends.
Swine flu fears will apparently be pushing consumers to take extra precautions, with 50% saying they will get a flu shot this year compared with 43% last year, according to a survey conducted by
Walgreen
(WAG)
.
As a result, the three major drugstores -- Walgreen,
Rite Aid
(RAD) - Get Report
and
CVS Caremark
(CVS) - Get Report
-- all began offering seasonal flu shots earlier this year. But which is poised to gain the most from consumers' heightened fears? Take our poll and leave a comment telling readers why you voted the way you did.
