
Pakistan Plane Crash Kills 21
NEW YORK (
) -- A plane crashed in Pakistan today killing all 21 people on board.
After taking off from Pakistan's airport in the city of Karachi, the pilot told the control tower that there seemed to be some engine trouble. As the pilot turned the Beech aircraft to return to the airport, it crashed in an open field near the airport.
The plane belonged to the
JS Air Company
and was being chartered by
Eni S.p.A.

, an Italian oil and gas company. There were at least 15 Eni employees on the flight, and at least one Italian citizen. Eni's CEO, Paolo Scaroni is reportedly heading to Pakistan.
Officials say the flight was heading to an oil field in Bhit Shah, in the southern province of Sindh.
After the crash the plane caught fire. Images and footage from the scene showed it broke into pieces, and the tail separated from the rest of the plane.
