Kmart's CEO Says Martha Stewart Sales Are Up
Kmart's
(KM)
chief executive reportedly said sales of the chain's Martha Stewart housewares products are higher than a year ago.
"We're seeing that the product is actually doing better than last year, on a per-store basis," said James Adamson, CEO of the bankrupt discounter, before a speech in Detroit, according to a
Reuters
report.
"We were very encouraged that people are separating Martha Stewart Living, the brand, from Martha Stewart, the personality. We continue to try to separate the two," Adamson said, according to the report.
