TheStreet's Jim Cramer discussed retail stocks from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange on Friday morning.
"Look, I don't like retail," Cramer said. "I don't like health care, I don't like retail. I can make some special situation in health care [because] I think Allergan (AGN) - Get Allergan plc Report has some things in the pipeline. I like UnitedHealth (UNH) - Get UnitedHealth Group Incorporated Report because it didn't go with Affordable Care. But I don't like retail" stocks.
Cramer noted that his charitable trust Action Alerts PLUSis in Costco, (COST) - Get Costco Wholesale Corporation Report but that is because it is a membership play. Walgreens (WAG) is also a holding because of its plan to buy Rite Aid. (RAD) - Get Rite Aid Corporation Report
"Retail is a loser here and maybe that's a blunderbuss but I just can't decide that in the age of Amazon, (AMZN) - Get Amazon.com, Inc. Report , which is not a retailer but a tech company that I am going to embrace some down and outer," Cramer concluded.
