received a boost on Monday, as the company revealed some promising pieces of news.

The company expects revenue in Southeast Asia, China and India to grow at least 20% this year, CEO Jeff Immelt said at a media briefing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Monday, Bernama.com reported.

General Electric also said it will roll out its first smart water heater in November and has created other energy-efficient appliances,

Shares of the company were climbing by 2.6% to $16.80 in afternoon trading.
