NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Integrated Device Technology (IDTI) - Get Report are rallying on Tuesday, climbing  over 7% after the company beat on earnings and revenue expectations.

On CNBC's "Stop Trading" segment, TheStreet's Jim Cramer, co-manager of the Action Alerts PLUS portfolio, wondered if the stock's rebound would be enough to help turn around the ailing semiconductor industry.

The company reported "terrific" results because the trend toward wireless power charging is clearly gaining steam, Cramer said. But whether it can help the sector as a whole is another matter, Cramer added.

Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) - Get Report also reported really good earnings, but the company is too tied to China, which is weighing on the stock price, Cramer explained.

At the time of publication, Cramer's Action Alerts PLUS had no position in companies mentioned.
