There was a lot of broken field running at the bell. Very hard to get your arms around what happened, kind of like a giant game of scrum when I'm coaching 5-year-olds in soccer. "Who has the ball? Hey, you, you are on defense? Stop playing with your hair and get in there! And you, you are running the wrong way. That's their goal."
Crazy day. Burnout day.
This is one of those weekends where we used to sit down with the charts and try to get a handle on the damage and the positives and negatives.
Now I just want to go biking and watch some baseball.
Probably better that way.
