shares jumped 20% after the equipment maker boosted its fourth-quarter sales forecast by more than 13%.
Shares of the San Jose, Calif.-based company rose 59 cents, or 21%, to $3.44.
The company said it now expects revenue of $15 million to $18 million, compared with its previous guidance of $13 million to $16 million in the quarter ending Dec. 31. The company had sales of $16.5 million a year ago.
The Thomson First Call consensus estimate is for a profit of 2 cents a share, vs. a flat performance in the same quarter a year ago.
Sunrise expects to report its quarterly results on Jan. 29, 2004.
