In 1997, Hemmady joined ADC as assistant treasurer, and he was the company's corporate controller and treasurer since 2002.

ADC also named Mark Borman treasurer, in addition to his current position as vice president of investor relations.

Shares of ADC were up 1 cent to $2.24.
