said an offering of 82 million of the company's Class A common shares has been priced at $21 each.
The company plans to use the proceeds from the sale to acquire or redeem Accenture SCA Class I common shares and Accenture Canada Holdings exchangeable shares held by current or former partners.
Accenture doesn't expect to keep any proceeds from the offering for operating purposes.
Morgan Stanley led the underwriting syndicate for the offering. Other underwriters included J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse First Boston, UBS and Banc of America Securities.
Shares of Accenture were down 13 cents, or 0.6%, to $21.26 in Instinet trading before the opening bell.
