CNN Blows It Again, Yes Today

Mish

Fresh on the heels of initiating a bogus news story on Trump, CNN is at it again, blasting Trump incorrectly.

CNN is back at it again today. This time it accuses trump of making Three Errors in One Tweet.

Ironically, CNN makes at least one huge error in its analysis of Trump's alleged errors.

Trump's Tweet

Alleged Errors

  1. Trump says that "the Democrats" have spent "millions of dollars" and "wasted" thousands of hours in an attempt to prove he colluded with the Russians during the 2016 campaign.
  2. Trump says no collusion with Russia has been shown.
  3. Trump has said he doesn't know and has never met the women accusing him of sexual harassment.

Claim 1 Analysis

CNN claims number 1 is false based on the notion that "Democrats don't control the Justice Department or the House and Senate. These investigations are all being led by either Republican appointees or Republican elected officials."

However, there are other ways to waste time and spend millions. Without a doubt, thousands of hours have been wasted if doing nothing more than rebutting absurd claims by Democrats.

I rate point number one as true.

Claim 3 Analysis

CNN says claim number three is provably false.

Summer Zervos, one of the accusers, was a contestant on the fifth season of "The Apprentice." Trump, obviously, met her. In fact, he's said he did! "I vaguely remember Ms. Zervos as one of the many contestants on The Apprentice over the years," Trump said.

I will give CNN credit for this one although it's entirely possible Trump forgot about Zervos and almost anyone else he met.

Claim 2 Analysis

This one is amusing. CNN states "Trump has repeatedly insisted that there is no collusion. Which might well be true!"

Say what?

CNN says there Trump made three false claims, one of which "might be true" but is undeniably true the way Trump phased it.

Amazing.

Fox still has less credibility than the other networks combined. Trump is going be thrown out of office in the most humiliating way possible. He deserves what's coming to him. I suspect most of America won't be sorry to see him go.

In fact the investigation is not over yet so we don't know definitively if there's collusion or not at this date. If there was collusion with the Russian's the Trump administration would do their utmost to conceal that fact. There are several reasons why it's logical to investigate. 1.Russians attempted to create several avenues of back channel communicate with Trump. Trump greatly benefited from financial dealings with the Russian mob and other people connected to Putin. Russian hacking efforts were widespread and

(Oops. I see a list can't be made.) Russian hacking efforts were both widespread and overwhelmingly (but not 100%) supportive of Trump over Clinton. Considering Russia's efforts and Trump's obvious admiration of Putin the only course remaining to objective Americans is to verify as thoroughly as possible whether Trump's campaign colluded with Russia or not during this election.

They've been investigating for a year and found nothing. Time to call it quits.

CNN isn't blowing it. CNN is a propaganda operation. What CNN is doing is on purpose, not by accident. The MSM hates Trump. Today, Zero Hedge has a story on disgraced FBI agent Strzok and disgraced FBI attorney Page's hate filled emails toward Trump.

" What Trump is doing is threatening the foundation of the 1st amendment. " Trump is not threatening the foundation of the 1st Amendment. It is in particular the Democratic Party that wants to control what you read or say on the internet. That violates your first Amendment rights. Trump is calling out the hate filled MSM for what they really are.

This investigation is not objective. The MSM colluded with the Hillary campaign against Trump. The MSM meddled in our election. That should be investigated, yet it is not being investigated.

"What Trump is doing is threatening the foundation of the 1st amendment"

People keep saying this..."threatening the 1st amendment" stuff.

"Threatening" - I don't think that word means what you think it means...

The only way Trump - or any other government official can "threaten" the first amendment is if he starts arresting and jailing reporters he doesn't like.

Which has happened before.

Someone named "Lincoln" did it in eighteen-hundreds.

It is stunning how dumbed-down America really has become. CNN - news by not-very-smart people FOR not-very-smart people. It is a beautiful synchronicity. All you need is a self-serving or trendy SJW agenda and nothing else matters.

Now you know why I don't agree with the anti-trust laws. They are - at their heart - a direct violation of "Freedom of Association." If the government can tell you who you are free (or not) to associate with from a business standpoint, then the First Amendment means nothing. It's actually worth less than the parchment upon which it was originally written.

Giving the government power to "regulate" something also gives them the power to determine winners and losers. Which means that they can - as they seem to have done in this case - block something they might otherwise approve of simply out of spite.

Just as they may allow something simply because those who want it came up with enough hookers and blow to make it happen...

No monopoly can exist without force to back it up. And only one entity is entitled to use force without consequence: Government

Any business, absent some sort of government-sponsored coercion (licensing fees, certifications, inspections...etc are included in this), will not be able to maintain a cornered market. Eventually a competitor will enter that market and offer a better product at a cheaper price. It doesn't matter how long it takes - if this can happen, then there is no monopoly.

Dress it up in populist rhetoric, give it fancy names, make it sound evil and all-encompassing... None of that matters. The choice is binary. You either have the freedom to associate or you do not.
