NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Earlier this month, Adobe Systems released its 2014 Digital Index Online Shopping Forecast for this year's holiday season that said sales on Cyber Monday are forecast to be $2.6 billion, an increase of 15% from a year ago.
In total, online holiday shopping is expected to increase 10% year-over-year. The average U.S. consumer will spend a total of $248 online during the holiday season, with $8 of that spent on Cyber Monday, the largest online shopping day of the year, according to the report.
So, what will people be buying this Cyber Monday? And where?

Apple's iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are leading social media mentions for mobile phones.
The phones, which regularly start at $199 and $299 with a two-year contract, respectively, will be discounted at Sam's Club, a division of discount merchandiser Walmart, which is offering $100 off all three models: 16GB, 64GB and 128GB, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Sony's PlayStation 4 tops Microsoft's Xbox One for video game consoles, the report says.
Best Buy has PlayStation 4 bundled with Grand Theft Auto V and The Last of Us: Remastered for $399.99. As for video games, Call of Duty comes out on top, according to the report.
Roku is the leader among over-the-top streaming media devices, according to Adobe.
The basic Roku 1 is on sale at Wal-Mart for $28, almost half its usual $50 price, according to Consumer Reports. The Roku 3, with a faster processor and some extra features, including an Ethernet port for a wired connection to your network, costs $85 at Best Buy, $15 lower than its usual $100 price, Consumer Reports wrote.
Fitbit has the most talked about wearable devices, the report said.
The best price on a FitBit is for the FitBit Flex at Kohl's, according to Passionforsavings.com. You can get a $25 mail-in rebate and earn $30 in "Kohl's Cash" to bring the price down to $44.99. The normal retail price on the FitBit Flex and the FitBit Charge is about $99.99, the site added.
Sony and Samsung Electronics are the most discussed brands for 4K TVs in the report.
4K TVs dipped into the $1000 range last year for Black Friday, but not one from Samsung, according to Paste Magazine. If you're in the market for a 4K TV, Wal-Mart has a Cyber Monday sale on a Samsung 55-inch for as low as $998, the site said.
Dolls from Disney's movie Frozen are driving strong social media mentions, the report said.
DisneyStore.com will offer deals to save with one day only specials on toys and apparel up to 40% off. Disney's Facebook page says to apply the code "CYBER" for eligible discounts.
For kids, indicators show demand for LEGO, and Nintendo's 3DS, the report said.
LEGO sets might be 40% off on Black Friday, but shoppers might be able to find sets at 50% off in December, according to Kristin Cook, managing editor at BensBargains.com.
Toys "R" Us is offering limited time deals of free shipping for all LEGO products.
Amazon.com, eBay, Target, Wal-Mart and the Gap are the most talked about retailers in the report. Amazon is beating eBay, Gap edges out H&M, while Target wins against Wal-Mart, according to the report.
Since November 21, Amazon shoppers have been able to get Black Friday deals leading up to Cyber Monday with new offers being added as often as every 10 minutes, according to iDigital Times.
Gap recently launched "Wish List," an online tool that "allows you and your loved ones to create a list of most-wanted items from across five of the company's brands: Gap, Banana Republic & Banana Republic Factory Store, Old Navy, Athleta and Piperlime," the company said.
Additionally, the company recently enhanced its mobile experiences. This includes "more outfitting ideas than ever, all visually displayed to fit your smartphone, as well as easier navigation, search and checkout capabilities to help you quickly find and buy that perfect gift," the company added.
Target announced last month that it was dropping shipping fees for all online orders from October 22 through December 20.
An added bonus to shopping at Target is its price match policy. "We'll match the price if you buy a qualifying item at a Target store between November 1 and December 24, and find the identical item for less in the Target circular, at Target.com, Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, ToysRUs.com or in a competitor's local printed ad," the company said.
