NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Kinder Morgan Management (KMR) reports third-quarter earnings after the market closes Wednesday, and here's what analysts are expecting from the limited partner in Kinder Morgan Energy Partners (KMP) .
The consensus estimate calls for Kinder Morgan Management to report earnings of 58 cents a share on revenue of $3.62 billion. In the third quarter 2013, the company reported earnings of 48 cents a share, which just missed analysts' expectations of 49 cents a share. Revenue in the quarter totaled $3.279 billion, which handily beat the consensus estimate of $2.798 billion.
In the second quarter 2014, Kinder Morgan Management posted earnings of 48 cents a share, less than the consensus estimate of 52 cents a share. The company reported revenue of $3.577 billion, which beat analysts' expectations of $3.247 billion.
Shares of Kinder Morgan Management were down 1.36% to $86.32 at 12:26 p.m. More than 1 million shares had changed hands to edge the average volume of 939,252.
