
Tech ETFs Suffer as Nasdaq Continues to Fall
The stock selloff that sent markets tumbling Thursday continued Friday with the Nasdaq falling 0.1% to 6,215.11 in morning trading. The tech-heavy Nasdaq is headed to its fourth straight week of declines.
Tech ETFs also felt the sting of the selloff Friday.
The Select Sector SPDR Trust (XLK) was down 0.11% to $57.07.

The Vanguard Information Technology ETF (VGT) fell 0.11% to $146.04.
The iShares Dow Jones US Technology ETF (IYW) declined 0.07% to $144.62
However, two of the major tech ETFs were able to remain in the green Friday with First Trust NASDAQ 100 Technology ix Fd (QTEC) rising 0.05% to $63.37 and First Trust ETF - First Trust Dow Jones Internet Index Fund (FDN) rising 0.02% to $96.81.
