Short-term notes and the long bond were also advancing. The two-year note was up 2/32 to 100 23/32, yielding 2.87%. The five-year was adding 3/32 to 101 9/32 with a yield of 4.08%.

The 30-year bond was up 2/32 to 98 26/32, yielding 5.46%.
