U.S. Treasuries were higher Wednesday afternoon, with notes and bonds gathering strength as their maturities lengthened.

Around 4 p.m. EDT, the two-year note was ticking up 1/32 to 100 11/32, yielding 3.20%. The five-year was gaining 5/32 to 96 15/32, yielding 4.36%, and the 10-year was ahead by 5/32 to 98 18/32, with a yield of 5.06%. The 30-year bond was up 11/32 to 97 8/32 to yield 5.57%.
