Amazon dipped slightly at around 2 p.m. when the reports broke, but the stock was still up 4.53% to $26.49 at 3:06 p.m.

Separately, TheStreet Ratings team rates PANDORA MEDIA INC as a "sell" with a ratings score of D. TheStreet Ratings Team has this to say about their recommendation:

- PANDORA MEDIA INC has improved earnings per share by 12.5% in the most recent quarter compared to the same quarter a year ago. This company has reported somewhat volatile earnings recently. But, we feel it is poised for EPS growth in the coming year. During the past fiscal year, PANDORA MEDIA INC reported poor results of -$0.30 versus -$0.19 in the prior year.
