On Tap Today: Circuit City Reports Earnings, Housing Market Index Released


Retailer Circuit City (CC) - Get Chemours Co. Report offers up its second-quarter earnings results today. On September 7, the store operator said that second-quarter earnings for its retail store group would fall below its previous forecast, citing costs associated with its move to abandon the major appliance business. Shares of Circuit City closed down Friday 63 cents to $24.63.

Also today, the

Housing Market Index, a good indicator for the rest of the housing indicators to be released this month, is released. Plus: Lockup expirations expire for recent tech issues and Greenspan addresses the American Bankers Association.
