Fox May Lose Support From Key Sky Investor in Acquisition Bid
Crispin Odey is Sky's 15th largest stakeholder.
21st Century Fox Corp.'s (FOXA) - Get Report bid to purchase the 61% stake of British satellite broadcaster Sky that it does not already own hit another bump following reports that one of the company's investors believes that Fox's $15.2 billion bid undervalues the company.
Crispin Odey, who is Sky's 15th largest stake holder with a 1% stake, told Reuters that the delay in the regulatory approval of the deal has given him an opportunity to reconsider his support of the acquisition.
"The truth is, the longer this goes on the more that I would be quite happy if it failed," Odey told Reuters.
