Shares of trucking company J.B. Hunt Transportation Services  (JBHT - Get Report)  were falling Tuesday after first-quarter earnings and revenue missed analysts' forecasts.

The company reported revenue of $2.1 billion in the quarter through March, up 7% from a year earlier, and earnings of $1.09 a share vs. $1.07.

Analysts had expected revenue of $2.2 billion and earnings of $1.25 a share.

The stock fell 3.7% to $101.56.

Stifel Nicolaus on Tuesday cut its price target on J.B. Hunt to $107 from $115.
