NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of GoPro (GPRO) - Get GoPro, Inc. Class A Report were gaining 4.3% to $71.17 after-hours Thursday after beating analysts' estimates for earnings and revenue in the third quarter.
The action camera maker reported earnings of 12 cents a share for the third quarter, beating the 8 cents a share analysts surveyed by FactSet expected for the quarter by 4 cents. Revenue grew 45.7% year over year to $280 million for the quarter, beating analysts' estimates of $263.45 million.
"The global scale and execution of our HERO4 launch made this the most successful roll out in GoPro's history," GoPro founder and CEO Nicholas Woodman said in a statement, referencing the company's new cameras that were released in the quarter.
