Stocks in Asia's key markets posted big gains overnight, and equities in Europe were on the rise Monday, as well.
Tokyo's Nikkei 225 climbed 1.5% to 17,628, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng surged 2.1% to 20,757. Mainland China's CSI jumped 2.7% to 3256, and India's BSE Sensex was up 2.3% at 13,696.
Elsewhere, South Korea's Kospi rose 0.7% to 1532, Australia's All Ordinaries Index was higher by 1% at 6184, and Singapore's Straits Times Index increased 1.2% to 3414.
As for Europe, the London FTSE 100 added 0.5% to 6497, and Frankfurt's Xetra DAX was gaining nearly 1% to 7282. Milan's MIB 30 was up 0.7% at 43,203.
The Paris Cac 40 was rising 0.8% at 5833, and the Swiss Market Index was tacking on 0.9% at 9259.
