Yen Falls After Recession Declared in Japan
The yen fell to a five-month low against the dollar after a report indicated that Japan's economy is in a recession.
The yen dropped to 125.57 against the dollar from 124.60 Thursday. Japan's currency slid to 111.74 to the euro from 111.50 in the prior session.
Britain's pound rose to $1.4307 from $1.4283 previously, and the euro traded at 89 cents.
