The dollar rose in tandem with U.S. equities to trade higher against the yen and the euro Monday.
The U.S. currency rose to 123.32 yen from 122.93 Friday. The greenback reached 87.81 cents per euro, up from 88.43 in the prior session.
Britain's pound fell to a four-month low against the dollar, trading for $1.4088, down from $1.4273 Friday. The euro bought 108.35 yen.
