The energy complex was a bit weaker Friday morning, while metals prices edged to the upside.
Crude oil futures were down 17 cents at $59.54 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Natural gas was off 5 cents at $7.825 per million British thermal units, and gasoline was losing about 1 cent to $1.59 a gallon.
Gold was up 20 cents at $663 an ounce, and silver was adding 8 cents to $13.85 an ounce. Copper gained just under 2 cents to $2.47 a pound.
