
Asia Markets, Stock Futures Up Higher
Most Asia markets up, as are U.S. stock futures.
Asian markets were mostly up and U.S. stock futures were up as well in early Thursday trading.
Japan's Nikkei 225 was up 103.75 points, or 0.52%, to 20,234.16. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng was also up, 182.23 points, or 0.71%, at 25,865.73. Stocks were 0.97% higher in Singapore at 3,246.88.
In U.S. stock futures overnight, Dow futures were up 0.16%, while Nasdaq and S&P futures edged higher, up 0.14% and 0.19% respectively.
Gold futures were up $3.60, or 0.29%, to $1,252.70, while oil futures were up 0.47%.
On Wall Street Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 0.68% higher, at 21,454.61. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq also rose, 0.88% and 1.43%, respectively, to close at 2,440.69 and 6,234.41.
