Asia Markets, Stock Futures Down
Asian markets and U.S. stock futures were mixed in early Friday trading.
Japan's Nikkei 225 fell 58.45 points, or 0.29%, to 20,289.03. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng fell 213.09 points, or 0.76%, to 27,897.24. Stocks were 0.14% lower in Singapore at 3,209.44.
In U.S. stock futures overnight, Dow futures were down 60 points, or 0.27%, at 22,273. Nasdaq and S&P futures also down, 0.47% and 0.29% respectively, at 5,917.50 and 2,493.75.
Gold futures, however, were up 0.29%, to $1,298.60, as were oil futures, up 0.10%, to 50.60.
On Wall Street Friday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 53.36 points, to close 0.24% lower, at 22,359.23. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq also fell, 0.30% and 0.52%, respectively, to close at 2,500.60 and 6,422.69.
