
Asia Markets Mostly Up, Stock Futures Mostly Down
Most Asia markets up, as U.S. stock futures are down.
Asian markets were mostly up and U.S. stock futures were down in early Thursday trading.
Japan's Nikkei 225 was up 82.98 points, or 0.41%, to 20,103.84. In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng was also up, 9.65 points, or 0.04%, at 26,681.81. Stocks were 0.11% lower in Singapore at 3,321.43.
In U.S. stock futures overnight, Dow futures were down 0.07%. Nasdaq futures were up 0.02%, to 5,919.25. S&P futures were down, 0.07%.
Gold futures were down $3.00, or 0.24%, to $1,239.00, while oil futures were also down 0.02%.
On Wall Street Wednesday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 0.31% higher, at 21,640.75. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq also rose, 0.54% and 0.64%, respectively, to close at 2,473.83 and 6,385.04.
