Plant-based protein and imitation meat producer Beyond Meat  (BYND) - Get Free Report has launched and new substitute for pork, aptly named 'Beyond Pork'. The new product is designed to be marketed mainly in China where pork is the predominant meat that is consumed by the population.

A growing interest in vegetarian meat substitutes, especially by younger Chinese is fueling several companies to come up with plant-based replacements for the pork that is used in dumplings and many other dishes.
