Bed Bath & Beyond  (BYND)  investors were beyond enthused as the stock rocketed upwards over 20% following the opening trade.

The retailer posted softer-than-expected first quarter earnings Wednesday, but boosted its full-year profit guidance as same-store sales expanded for the fourth consecutive quarter, TheStreet’s Martin Baccardax reported.

Jim Cramer told Action Alerts PLUS senior analyst Jeff Marks that he attributes the turnaround of Bed Bath to CEO Mark Tritton.

"Mark Tritton, how about that!" Cramer said, when reacting to Bed Bath & Beyond earnings.

Cramer's advice going forward? "Stay long," Cramer said.
