The Dow was pushing higher in intraday trading on Monday, May 10. The Nasdaq was firmly in the red, but the S&P was mixed.
But last Friday, tech shares led markets higher after the U.S. added 266,000 jobs in April, well below forecasts that called for one million. Investors believe the Fed will remain accommodative for longer following the weak jobs number.
