Disney's "The Lion King" had quite the opening weekend, bringing in $185 million and crushing estimates of $150 million. The circle of blockbusters continued with news that "Avengers: Endgame" surpassed "Avatar" as the highest-grossing film of all-time, bringing in $2.8 billion.
Before you go Hakuna Matata and go all in on Disney, there's a few things investors need to keep in mind.
TheStreet founder and Action Alerts PLUS portfolio manager Jim Cramer broke down what investors need to know about the Real Money Stock of the Day:
"I think that 'The Lion King' is more of a metaphor for the time. I mean, here's something, a movie that got bad reviews and it did well. There was another time when a movie would get bad reviews and the stock would go down. That's no longer the case. There's just kind of a building group of people, coupled with the fact that the competition is so lame," said Cramer.
