Jim Cramer's Best Advice Ahead of the Fed? Do Nothing
And just like that judgment day is upon us.
The Federal Reserve has kicked off its two-day meeting and will announce its decision on rate cuts on Wednesday, July 31 at 2 P.M. ET.
Market pundits widely expect a cut of 25 basis points, with some hoping for an even more significant cut of 50 points. Investors will also be closely listening to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell for any language that suggests future moves from the Fed.
With the confidence of a cut deeply baked into the markets, a move to the contrary could have investors saying goodbye to recent all-time highs.
So what's the last thing investors need to do before the Fed hosts its Last Supper?
Cramer advises investors to do nothing.
