United Airlines  (UAL) - Get United Airlines Holdings, Inc. Report confirmed plans to buy a total of 270 new planes from both Boeing  (BA) - Get Boeing Company Report and Airbus  (EADSY) - Get Airbus SE Report. The roughly $30 billion deal marks the largest single aircraft deal in United's history, TheStreet's Martin Baccardax reported.

Jim Cramer told Action Alerts PLUS senior analyst Jeff Marks that the deal reflects both the resurgence of the economy as well as increased demand for travel.

What does the deal mean for Action Alerts PLUS holding Boeing?

"What I like about this...is that Boeing has been terrible....This is not going to counteract the bad news on Boeing. Don't buy Boeing on this, yet!" Cramer said.
