BOSTON (TheStreet) -- YRC Worldwide (YRCW) - Get Report was one of several stocks trading below $5 moving on above-average volume Tuesday after the trucking company announced second-quarter financial results.
said it had a second-quarter loss of a penny a share, narrower than the Thomson Reuters average estimate for a loss of 8 cents a share. However, revenue fell 8.7% from a year ago to $1.12 billion, slightly below the consensus target of $1.19 billion.
Last month, YRC Worldwide said it expected to swing to a second-quarter pre-tax profit from a first-quarter pre-tax loss.
Shares of YRC Worldwide fell by 3.5 cents, or 8.6%, to 37.5 cents. Volume topped 103.18 million shares, compared to the average daily share volume of 90.18 million.

jumped by 26 cents, or 17.6%, to $1.74 after the medical equipment company said Germany's Medserena purchased a fourth UPRIGHT MRI scanner from the company. Volume topped 277,000 shares, compared to the average daily share volume of 15,000.
Blonder Tongue Laboratories
rallied by 55 cents, or 41.7%, to $1.87 after the broadband solutions company swung to a second-quarter profit of 15 cents a share from a year-ago loss of 6 cents a share. Volume topped 346,000 shares, compared to the average daily share volume of only 4,000.
Nova Measuring Instruments
rose by $1.06, or 20.9%, to $6.14 after the metrology systems company notched a second-quarter profit of 18 cents a share on revenue of $19.4 million coming in ahead of consensus estimates.
Nova Measuring also upped its full-year revenue guidance to a range of $78 million to $85 million, above the two-analyst average of $64 million. Volume topped 1.5 million shares, compared to the average daily share volume of 98,000.
slumped by 54 cents, or 10.3%, to $4.68 after the commercial real estate finance company posted a second-quarter loss of 89 cents a share on revenue of $136.8 million, below the Thomson Reuters consensus estimate for a loss of 30 cents a share on revenue of $159.2 million. Volume topped 1.67 million shares, compared to the average daily share volume of 1.66 million.
