President Donald Trump and Russia Prime Minister Vladimir Putin are making preparations to meet before the G-20 meeting in Germany in July, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov told Bloomberg.
"There are preparations. The issue of whether the schedules of both leaders can coincide is a separate question. As of today, there is no clarity on this," Ryabkov said.
Tensions are high between the two countries as Congressional lawmakers are investigating the extent to which Russia interfered with the U.S. presidential election last year.
