The Trump Administration's unveiling of its much talked about tax plan was intentionally vague, White House budget chief Mick Mulvaney said Thursday.
The administration did not provide details on how it would pay for what it called the biggest tax cut in U.S. history when it unveiled the plan Wednesday.
"There's no way to score what we put out yesterday. And we did it on purpose. Not to try and hide the numbers but to say, look, this is the first discussion," Mulvaney told CNBC.
