Stocks finished higher Tuesday after big banks reported quarterly earnings and tech stocks wavered.

Here are some of the big movers in the stock market on Tuesday:

1. Rigel Pharmaceuticals | Percentage Increase Over 80%

Shares of Rigel Pharmaceuticals  (RIGL) - Get Report jumped on Tuesday after the drugmaker said it started a U.K. trial of a drug designed to combat COVID-19 pneumonia. 

2. Vaxart | Percentage Increase Over 40%

The Street Quant Rating Rates Vaxart a Sell with a rating score of D.

Shares of Vaxart  (VXRT) - Get Report and Arcturus Therapeutics  (ARCT) - Get Report jumped for a second day after the drugmakers, which are developing coronavirus vaccine candidates, were the subject of a bullish note from analysts at B. Riley. 

3. Boeing | Percentage Increase Over 2%

Boeing  (BA) - Get Report shares were rising Tuesday after the planemaker won a U.S. Air Force contract that could potentially be worth $23 billion. 

4. Nvidia | Percentage Increase Over 3%

The Street Quant Rating rates Nvidia a Buy with a rating score of B.

Nvidia's  (NVDA) - Get Report new chip architecture will benefit from data-center and gaming product cycles, said Cowen analyst Matthew Ramsay in raising his target price on the stock.

5. Moderna | Percentage Increase Over 3%

The Street Quant Rating rates Moderna a Sell with a rating score of D+.

Moderna  (MRNA) - Get Report plans to start the 30,000-participant Phase III trial of its experimental COVID-19 vaccine on July 27, according to an entry on clinicaltrials.gov, a U.S. government registry of drug trials.
