Printing solutions provider
will start offering an advanced 802.11g wireless LAN option for Zebra's QL Plus series now and for its RW series mobile printers in the summer.
Zebra's new 802.11g radio is intended for use on faster, data-intensive networks that require the highest levels of security via built-in 802.11i and Wi-Fi protected access 2 to keep data safe and secure. It supports 802.11i, VPN and WPA/WPA2-Enterprise standards to ensure maximum data security, the Vernon Hills, Ill.-based company said.
"This advanced radio option is an example of how portable printers from Zebra are helping to meet the wireless printing needs of large retailers, manufacturers and healthcare organizations," the company said.
